Concilium: durable coordination begins with explicit state
An organization of agents needs more than a shared chat transcript. Work has identity, dependencies and a state that should survive the process currently holding it. I see durable coordination as an application-design problem before it becomes a scheduling problem.
CTO to Human: what the history tells us
Concilium's selected public history is concentrated in March. The foundation and database changes establish a place to represent work and evolve its schema. They are early engineering milestones; there is no reason to describe them as a finished coordination platform.
Engineer to Engineer: the boundary that matters
PostgreSQL gives records a durable owner. Liquibase makes schema evolution a versioned operation. Those mechanisms support future coordination behavior, but they do not automatically decide how two agents resolve competing changes or what proves a task is complete. Each of those rules needs an explicit contract and tests of its own.
Milestones in the public record
- 2026-03-22 — Concilium establishes a project foundation. The Concilium foundation pull request established the starting structure for the project. It is the first selected milestone in this public history. Project journal.
- 2026-03-22 — Concilium gives coordination state a database boundary. The PostgreSQL and Liquibase pull request added the database and schema-migration foundation. It followed domain-model work in the same development period. Project journal.
The useful vision is continuity: another process should be able to understand what work exists, what it depends on and what happened to it. The project history starts with the infrastructure required to make that possible, while leaving higher-level behavior as work to demonstrate.

Retrospective written on October 12, 2026, covering the public evidence available for October 12, 2025 through October 12, 2026. Linked journal entries use source event dates; this essay is a newly written retrospective. Quiet months do not imply an unrecorded release, and short-lived projects are not presented as having a full year of activity.
